Procurement Policy and Compliance Monitoring Board
All procurements for the Office of the Attorney General (OAG) shall be accomplished in the most economical, expeditious and commercially reasonable manner that is in accordance with the Attorney General's Procurement Rules, Illinois Administrative Code, Title 44, Part 1300 (AG''s Procurement Rules).
The Attorney General's Chief Procurement Officer (CPO) is charged with supervising and approving any or all procurements on behalf of the OAG. The Attorney General's State Purchasing Officer (SPO) is responsible for conducting procurements in accordance with the terms of the AG's Procurement Rules.
The OAG Procurement Policy and Compliance Monitoring Board (PPCMB) shall review, oversee, comment upon and recommend rules and practices governing the procurement, management, control and disposal of supplies, professional or artistic services, construction and capital improvements and other services procured by the OAG in accordance with the AG's Procurement Rules, Title 44, Part 1300.1002(c)
The meeting schedule of the PPCMB is published with each fiscal year. All meetings of the PPCMB are open to the public, and public comment is accepted for a maximum of thirty (30) minutes at each meeting.
