Trainings and outreach activities to support victims of crime
The Office of the Illinois Attorney General has made it a priority to identify challenges, share resources, and find solutions to strengthen the network of services for victims. The office partners with crime victim advocates, community organizations, violence prevention groups, law enforcement personnel, attorneys, and individuals who are personally impacted by crime.
The Attorney General consistently offers a presentations, trainings, and events throughout Illinois and on digital platforms that address issues to support crime victims. Topics covered include, but are not limited to: Crime Victim Compensation, Crime Victim’s Rights, Automated Victim Notification, Elder Abuse/Justice, Sexual Assault, Domestic Violence, and Firearms Safety.
